Betsy McAtee has worked in the food industry for more than 20 years. In 2000, she joined one of Alabama’s most loved and most famous restaurants - Dreamland Bar-B-Que. She oversaw the successful opening of a Birmingham location and has enjoyed many successes in expanding her brand. But, many ventures she tried were not as successful and Betsy soon recognized that growing her company required some changes. She entered and ultimately won the inaugural Business Makeover Birmingham – a six month program of professional services valued at more than $30,000 that was offered by six leading companies.
Join us for some of Dreamland’s famous ribs and bar-b-que as Betsy shares with us the Best Practices she learned from her Business Makeover - including how to focus on good strategic planning, setting your vision and doing everything you need to in your daily activities to achieve that vision. Salads will also be served for the non-carnivorous.
