As a growing chapter, volunteers are a crucial element to the success and future expansion of our Birmingham chapter fo AMA. And there are plenty of opportunities – from helping plan the programs for meetings to serving on the Expo committee. Of course, volunteers don’t only play the role of free labor for the chapter, but they also receive valuable benefits from the experience. In fact, members who serve on chapter commitees are more involved in AMA and our marketing community. They attend more meetings, get to know more members, and learn more about marketing. 	Programs: Plan meeting topics and schedule speakers
	Membership: Recruit new members and plan special membership drives
	Special Events: Plan and execute Expo from ticket sales to advertising
	Communications: Work on newsletter, meeting notices and publick relations
	Fundraising: Seek out sponsors for meetings and other events
	Treasurer: Assist with accounting for chapter finances
	Collegiate Relations: Work with local college chapters
